Microsoft Hardware

When Microsoft set out to reinvent its hardware packaging, they wanted it to match the sleek, modern aesthetic of their upcoming software launch. They called the new design language "Metro"—a bold, contemporary approach with strong typography and a clean, structured feel.

Having worked closely with the hardware team for years, I became the direct point of contact for the client while also leading the creative efforts across multiple studios—Columbus, London, Mumbai, Dubai, and Seattle. Microsoft wanted a truly global perspective, pulling in diverse influences to shape the final look.

After hundreds of iterations and over two years of refinement, the chosen design was mine. The final packaging introduced fresh form factors, elevating the entire unboxing experience to feel premium and intentional. Crisp typography, thoughtful hierarchy, and a refined presentation—it was a much-needed evolution for their hardware lineup.
