From idea to direction: A studio for creatives ready to move forward.

A Live, Mentored Creative Studio (4 Weeks / Online)

Do you have an idea, a project, or a creative itch that’s been quietly following you around? Something you haven’t been able to fully develop, or don’t know where to start?

This four-week online workshop gives you structured guidance, mentorship, and a supportive group of peers to move that idea forward. Using the creative process I’ve developed in my upcoming book, Does it have to be a Light Bulb?, we’ll work methodically through your project—whatever it may be, from a design challenge to a fine art piece.

I’ll guide you personally, drawing on 30+ years in the design industry and a Master’s degree in drawing and painting, to help you explore, refine, and interpret your work in a meaningful way. Together, we’ll:

• Apply the book’s process to your idea

• Share your project with others in the group at key stages

• Get constructive feedback and guidance

• Explore how your idea can grow in form, function, and clarity

By the end of the workshop, you may not have a “finished” project—but you will have a clearer direction, actionable next steps, and a supportive team to help keep your work alive.

Participants will receive a pre-publication digital copy of Does it have to be a Light Bulb?—so you can follow the process in your own work while we move together through the sessions.

Format

• 4 weeks, starting February 2nd

• 2 live Zoom sessions per week

• Small group, limited enrollment (10–12 participants)

• Guided discussion, critique, and mentorship
